Great shot! It was to cover switches and outlets but now just a quick access hatch to the battery compartment and charge point.

Finally got to field test the solar slideout. Two 100w Renolgy panels and a linear actuator to adjust for the angle. The panels were designed to be removable, for times we park in the shade.

That's a good point. I'll see how it does on the next outing and will install a thermal break if needed. Thanks for the suggestion!

Special thanks to Midnightsun and Drifta for inspiring this kitchen build. I was gifted the Blackstone 22" griddle and though it took some doing, got it to fit. Also added LED lights, USB, and outlet.

Based on the Supports Depots recommendation I used the 40 lbs lifts. While that makes it possible for two people to lift, it isn't as smooth as Habitat's setup. May opt to change the awning side 50 lbs, or all 50 lbs. I removed two of the tie downs providing more room. All the credit goes to...

Great work. I too saw the Habitat video and thought it was a brilliant solution. Wanting the ability to raise and lower the tent, I opted to get 4 linear actuators but may reconsider and use struts instead. bobebm, Do you mind letting me know the bracket, ball stud, and other things needed...

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and wait longer for a response. Wonder if Smittybilt is aware of this thread as I'm sure many people have purchased the trailer based on the discussion here, myself included. It would go a long way to see them taking care of their customers.

I may get an inexpensive unit and build a carrying box for it. Use it for sites with RV hookup and possibly a swamp cooler setup for more remote areas.

Attached picture of the drawers in question. Where did you get those? They seem to be a perfect fit for that spot.

Love those pullout storage drawers! What specifically are those and how are they working out for you? My concern would be movement of the stored items during transit. Especially considering the type of roads we generally travel.
