What's your favourite frying pan? Market Research

On a recommendation somewhere on here, I bought a Matfer Borgeat carbon steel pan. I love cast iron like anyone else here, in part because it can be used on any fuel source; campfire or stovetop. And you can pretty much treat it like cast iron. But it's quite a bit lighter, yet still heavy...

    Tex's 200 Series

Nice truck. I'll still never understand the fascination with black wheels. But I'm old enough to remember back when one was embarassed to run black steel wheels, because it meant you couldn't afford hubcaps.

I think I bought much of my stuff a few years ago from the G-Works site in South Korea. Pain in the butt, but I got what I wanted. Almost unobtainium today. Shame they don't make their uber-nice tank regulators anymore:

How do you transport denatured alcohol?

MSR sells dedicated fuel bottles. I engrave mine with the kind of fuel in it. https://www.msrgear.com/stoves/stove-accessories/msr-fuel-bottles/msr-fuel-bottles.html

I often forget to do it, but put a piece of foil down in the bottom of your BBQ box, then put the riser on top. Makes cleanup from drippings alot easier.

Maybe they'll finally ditch their apparel line (which was mostly her doing), and get back to focusing on making bombass gear.

    Maul or Splitting axe?

I've seen that video. Haven't used the HF model, but I totally love my Logmatic, and suspect its Finnish manufacture is far superior than the HF chinese build.. Keep in mind I'm not splitting large rounds. I'm splitting either campwood (which I think is what the OP asked about), or smaller...

    Maul or Splitting axe?

After years of bringing axes, hatchets, and wedges to split firewood, this is what resides in my camper now: https://logmaticusa.com/products I have the 250 at my cabin, and the 150 in the camper. It is so much safer than an axe, hatchet, or maul. Instead of taking aim on a spot, and swinging...
