Whatever the question , the answer is always an ARB fridge with bacon :) For "overlanding" s simple 2.5 lift with some good 33' is a pretty good combination. Its pretty much still stock and all the components wouldn't need reinforcement with added weight of 35, etc.. as codesertrat has suggested...

It seems like the "boot" has become a niche market and little like craft beer :) Christopher Noel - pretty much sums it up on how to choose a boot, the most we can offer is maybe a particular brand that your not familiar with.

I have an 09 2DR and went the route of ARB's slide.

I'm using AEV 2.5 with correction brackets and it drives great on highway and off-road and can take the extra weight, etc. I'm very happy with it.

Just my opinion , sell ALL your wheels and tires and purchase off craigslist some Rubicon 17 take off for next to nothing and then buy brand new BFG KO2 34x10.5/17 and call it a day :) or 255/80/17 [33.333x10.5/17] Yes technically, the 15' and tires would fit , but you are then limiting...

I have an 09 and have the same problem. The dealer "fixed" it , but after about a year later it worn out again. These seem like an ongoing issue and all years of JK's seem to have " week" ebrake.
