Seems you should be getting better fuel economy than that, even on 35s.

Did you adjust for the fewer revolutions per mile with 35s in that calculation? I know your speedometer is off a fair amount.

Have you tried freezing the shaft? Get a duster air can for electronics and invert the can, then spray the shaft with the liquid CO2. The metal will shrink up a bit. I've gotten stuff unstuck before using that trick.

The canvas on the rack looks cool! Does it flap around like crazy on the highway? I've been contemplating making my own soft topper of sorts almost identical to what you have done. I like my fiberglass shell but it's a lot of weight.

You can definitely tint Monstaliner, and it is sprayable. Lots of colors available. Also UV stable without need of a top coat. My favorite aspect of Monstaliner is that is it so smooth compared to most liners. You could use a wash mitt on it.
