There are no gasoline long range tanks that are legal for the GX that I am aware of. While some individual owners may feel comfortable with the EPA fine risk, I just can't risk it as a business.

I spent a few days installing the Old Man Emu BP-51s. The trick is taking the time to service worn parts and clean the frame, undercoat, etc. at the same time. I was tight on time, but glad to have made the effort.

It is a small company that produced an innovative product. They likely just need some time and volume. Personally, I am grateful to see innovation in a sea of knock-offs.

They are not certified as such, but produced with material suitable for fuel storage. i.e., buyer beware. It is rare to need extra fuel in the US, so if I was to fill it up in Mexico, then it would be 100% legal :)
