Here's another post to bring this thread back to life once again. I Picked up my np 241 transfer case yesterday from a 1993.
Here's my question. Has anyone found an off the shelf front drive shaft that will work? The longest I can find is 30 3/4" when compressed and from what I understand I...
Thanks for all that commented on the battery. Ended up going with this one. 800 cca should be way more than I will ever need for our 5.3. I have these blain's farm and fleet platinums in my 7.3 diesel and they haven't let me down

Has anyone put a larger cranking battery in their van? Mine has finally seen its last day and I want to replace it with the largest one possible.

I have not put one in my savana yet but I believe people remove the wires from the plug, feed the wires through the center of the swivel, then reinstall the wires into the plug. Seems like most of the swivels will move your seat height up a few inches and many people modify the seat bracket to...
Yes they are the best sites. That is still the most expensive place I have ever paid to stay. We probably pay more there a night than we do everywhere else combined for the year. (We don't stay in many campgrounds) But for key west it is expected and we do find ourselves coming back. Where are...
Have you tried cranking your stock keys yet? I think I got something like 2_3/8" out of my stock keys. The prices for those kits are highway robbery in my opinion. I put my money towards bilstein shocks and brand new surburan leaf packs on the rear. Could not be happier

I have an older whynter 45 quart. Best thing I have ever added to my van. I bought it used for $250 and as of right now they are selling for about $472 brand new on Amazon.
Never had a problem can run around the clock in the summer time with just my solar setup.
100w panel, cheap walmart 125...
I bought mine brand new because of your same line of thinking. Ended up being the most expensive part of the lift but at least I know I won't have to do it again. Also ened up being the hardest part......man It took for ever to remove the old ones

I noticed you talked about cooler storage. If there is one thing in my build out I could not be without its hands down my 12v fridge. I am pretty sure we say that every trip we take. I hope you have seriously considered it

Only problems I have had with my awd savana is with the abs / traction control system. Its been an ongoing issue i caint get figured out. I suspect its one bad wire somewhere. This is a know gm issue. Like what has already been said this is the best bang for your buck and will take you anywhere...
I just have a marine battery behind the driver seat in a marine battery box. Do some reading on batteries off gassing and see if this is something you want to worry about. I chose not to but I'm sure there are plenty of ppl here that would say otherwise. I charge it off the alternator and off...
No issues with existing electrical or duct work( I do have rear heat and ac). I think I removed the rear light in the head liner so I make sure there was nothing in the way. I ran the wire to the driver side floor then up to behind the drivers seat by feeding it behind the factory wall panels. I...
Here are some pics. It is the maxxfan deluxe. I thought the remote was gonna be over kill. I was wrong. I use it all the time from the driver seat especially with the fan being mounted so far back. If u have more questions or want more pics let me know

Non of these are great pictures of the fan but they r the best ones I have. My van is currently in the shop with an electrical issue otherwise I would take better ones. Hope this helps
