This is what is so wrong with car froums. There are thousands of mitigating circumstances that could cause a vehicle to fail in hundreds of ways.
This 'my truck was gargbage' with no background info skews perceptions and offers no real world useable info.
And when asked.....simple minded...
They sell millions of F150s every year. The forums are the places people go to vent about problems. Its a very small percentage that when gathered on one forum can seem to be the majority, but its not.

but you missed the main thing....the Tacoma is a TRUCK. I'd like to see a disco or new defender haul a refrigerator standing up or a cut up tree without ruining the interior.
I would hope the Disco is more comfortable....its built for a different reason and with different materials and costs...

Wh is it a high hurdle? They know the mileage these trucks drive every day, the routes, and they are all returning to a central spot every night for charging (once chargers are in place and the grid is capable). Range, route mapping, and charging can be even more optimized than a regular...
Just open the hood and you'll see that they overcomplicated it and rushed it. A nice mid sized N/A engine would have done JUST fine. Less to engineer, less to test, less to break, less to warranty, less to gamble with and suffer more negative press.

Do you just carry blocks of wood so the leveling jacks still work after the suspension lift?
