    Anyone got a line on Fuso 4M50-T7 Injectors for a 2005 FG140?

I've seen these but am wary of Chinese knock off parts for something this critical. Have you used these Erikc injectors?

    2005 Fuso FG Slow Start?

UPDATE: I finally got around to fabricating an injector pulling tool and got my injectors out to send for testing. Unsurprisingly they all failed with unacceptable levels of fuel leak-through. Now I'm on the hunt for 4 injectors - the dealer wants almost $1k EACH...

    Anyone got a line on Fuso 4M50-T7 Injectors for a 2005 FG140?

After injector removal due to sluggish starting and being down on power, all four of the fuel injectors from my truck failed testing and need to be replaced. The dealer wants nearly $1000 EACH. Anyone have a line on rebuilt ones or possibly a wholesale price? Part numbers are Mitsubishi...

Fuso Injector Removal Tool & DIY Video

Hello all, I recently had to pull the fuel injectors on my 2005 Fuso FG140 with the 4M50 engine and came up with a good tool to make the process easy. If possible, make sure to get your engine nice and hot beforehand to help the injectors out!

12v Air conditioning vs mini Split

I bought a 12v unit from Sharkaire for my build; it's also a heat pump! I haven't installed it so can't speak to its efficiency but wanted to throw it out there. The company was easy to deal with, and they also make a 24v version...

37's vs 40's for Fuso FG Build

It might be worth noting that this is on their V8 Isuzu chassis with custom driveline (2-speed transfer case and DynaTrac 80 axles). As such it might not be an apples-to-apples comparison to the Fuso trucks.

    2005 Fuso FG Slow Start?

Thanks, @11overlandram; the priming pump doesn't seem to change the behavior from what I've observed...

    2005 Fuso FG Slow Start?

Video: https://youtu.be/DVA2AdhP2Lc Lately my FG is slow to fire off. When I swapped the engine I had to send the injection pump out for a rebuild (these Bosch pumps DO NOT like sitting) but I don't recall it having this issue right after installing the rebuilt pump (it's been a few months)...

37's vs 40's for Fuso FG Build

@SkiFreak That's a good point. It's radical what insta_canter is doing with his rig off road (see his latest video here) but I recognize that I will fall pretty much on the opposite end of the spectrum since I'm putting on a 16' x 8' x 8' box for full-time living capability (as opposed to his...

37's vs 40's for Fuso FG Build

@Hodor Yes, I have super singles, and you're right about load rating being a concern! @Howard70 I have a 2006 so no Duonic/single speed to worry about. It looks like the Nitto Mud Grappler and Gladiator X Comp MT both come in a 131 Load Index for a 40/13.5 R17 tire, but like @rruff said, they...

37's vs 40's for Fuso FG Build

My truck currently has 35 inch tires (315/75 R17), but having seen insta_canter's rig on IG with 40's I'm tempted to built mine around them as well seeing as I'll need custom springs either way as a part of my buildout. It seems like the cost difference between the two sizes is fairly small...

2005 Fuso FG 140 Engine Replacement

UPDATE - After waiting two months for the clutch alignment tool from Bosch, I have completed the engine swap. There were two complications that I had to figure out: 1) The clutch must be power bled if the fluid is allowed to drain from the lines/master cylinder. The 'pedal pump' method that...

2005 Fuso FG 140 Engine Replacement

Thanks! I'm always keeping an eye on the market so I'll try to let you know if I see any 4x4's pop up!

2005 Fuso FG 140 Engine Replacement

Anyone have experience changing out the engine on a Fuso FG? I recently bought this truck and drove it back from Moab to North Carolina with the intention to build it out as a mobile adventure command post...
