"The Blueberry" built for adventure and & daily driver

After returning from New Mexico, the focus turned more towards getting expedition ready. Myself and the rest of Terra Firma Roamers started planning a trip for late Summer to Moab and with that came a swath of modifications to prepare for this. The drawer system is plywood and 350# drawer...

Limb Risers For 5th Gen 4Runner

What everyone is saying. Vinyl coated cable and turnbuckles. You can attach to the bar or I have seen others use hood channel CB antenna mounts for the front brackets. I did a variation on this yesterday repurposing a light bar mount.

"The Blueberry" built for adventure and & daily driver

After a few years in a Jeep TJ, my interests waned and bent elsewhere. I made the common mistake of overbuilding without knowing exactly what I needed/wanted and it just led to an uncomfortable and HOT ride all the time (no ac). My travels had become less of off road park rock climbing and more...

North Texas Ghost Town Tour daycation

In the mid 1700's, the upper Red River Valley was dominated by a once thriving Wichita Indian population. Violent clashes with Spanish and Mexican explorers as well as the destruction of the white man brought in the form of disease decimated this once proud civilization. Three hundred years have...

    2010 patriot soft roader build.

I fully support the Patriot as a pretty awesome soft roader / overlanding platform & NOT a Jeep elitist or purist. HOWEVER, that dude is seriously nuts. I would consider a Patriot as a pretty capable B1000 platform with about $100k worth of modifications that would make it a buggy with a Patriot...

    SilicaRich's Overland TJ Rubicon Build

Yeah pretty much but it's still a toss up. I have an F150 that is parked on my land in La that needs quite a bit of work. If I can ever someday line out a tow vehicle to get it back here then I can beef it into a pretty reliable DD (It's 2WD, so nothing more serious than a pavement pounder) and...
