For Sale: 2018 SoCal Teardrops 459 Krawler - $23,999 - Las Vegas, NV - Willing to help with delivery up to ~500 miles

That's a really cool setup! Im not a potential buyer, but if you don't mind sharing- was the swing out an option from SoCal? Or custom? Seems like a great way to optimize space when traveling and expand the work zone when camping. and operationally- how does having the sink / prep / heater...

    2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagon (Gigantor 2.0)

damn, glad you're safe and house is ok...but yeah that number of burned houses is crazy. We have our trailer packed all fire season ready for an evac here in MT, but I guess there aren't even seasons anymore at this point...maybe we need to keep the trailer ready all year. (I have a '21 f-150...

Expedition trailers in bear country advice

We ended up getting a new-to-us FSR trailer with their High Country RTT at a good price and convenient pickup location... so nothing like I was originally asking about haha. Our logic is that we likely won't be going to super - bear - infested spots while the kids are this young, andthis setup...

Thanks, and makes sense... im realizing I need to get into the seat cover business. Dang, was not thinking I'd be dropping $600+ on seat protection...

    F150 Seat cover recs

That's awesome, hadn't come across these covers yet. My concerns are the covers looking like, well...covers (poor fit, wrinkles, not sized correctly, etc...), but the neoprene looks awesome. You're not kidding about the price though...whew. Will wait for a sale for sure! Any other recs out...

2015 F150 Super Crew - AT Overland Summit *SALE PENDING*

Ah, that's very helpful advice...that's exactly what I was thinking re a winch. You're right- there is no easy solution for the eco boosts- but you figured something out and it looks great. Its great to see a full size f150 decked out like this- someone is going to get an awesome rig!!

2021 F150 Tremor - updated build and price now available.

Huh thats interesting... though I'd love a bumper that allows for the IC to breathe plus room for a light bar + winch. Feels like the aftermarket players don't see enough market from Ford owners so havnt engineered anything...but maybe that'll change with all the dev Ford has put out in the 150...

2021 F150 Tremor - updated build and price now available.

Thanks! Nothing major planned yet.... part of buying new was to keep it stock and warrantied for the first few years, figure out what works as-is / needs upgrading. I think this is good enough off the lot for our family camping approach :) I am looking to add a topper (assuming the lead times...

2021 F150 Tremor - updated build and price now available.

Not great shots yet, but it's pretty sweet. It honestly looks better in person - the lead foot gray doesn't show as nicely on camera, IMO. I'm going to de-badge it soon - I like the orange accents, but the decals are gaudy as hell.

Expedition trailers in bear country advice

I ended up getting an FSR trailer with RTT for the above stated reasons - no food / fridge in the sleeping set-up. All food / smelly stuff stored in the car, parked away from the site. Bear-muda triangle, blah blah blah. https://gofsr.com/pages/adventure-trailers I don't trust a stove, even...

2021 F150 Tremor - updated build and price now available.

Idon't disagree on something else to break, but 4a is pretty helpful where I live. I'm fairly sure all the computers are going to break before the mechanicals anyway haha!

2021 F150 Tremor - updated build and price now available.

I think that's right. It's so unnecessarily confusing how Ford has positioned and marketed these- they basically crossed trim levels am with packages... making it super confusing if you're used to thinking about them separately. anyway, I did end up picking mine up this weekend...I like it a...

    Camper with 2 small kids

This is what we're doing. Ages 6 and 3.5, things change monthly in terms of interest, attitude, time constraints, etc... keep it simple and comfortable for quick get aways. My wife and I also agreed to rent when we want to do something that requires a different set up ...vs committing ourselves...

    (partially) new Tundra coming?

Price and actual MPG missing from the announcements are red flags for me. I have a f150 tremor at a dealer with a deposit holding it for me. Part of why I was slow playing actually picking it up was to wait for this announcement. I would have been willing to overlook the tonka truck design if...

Expedition trailers in bear country advice

Nah, not really, if you follow the right approach for cooking, food storage, etc. As 1000Arms said, look at the NP's in WY and MT...plus, the literally hundreds of thousands of out-of-towners who roll in with their crappy paper thin RVs who don't follow ANY of the bear avoidance rules parked all...

Expedition trailers in bear country advice

Yeah, it's wild sometimes seeing how little people care / worry about bears. It's a death sentence for the bears once they get habituated to food, and that's the "best" case if they come for a visit. This friendly looking monster was a few miles from where we were camping this summer (tent). A...
