how to price my sprinter 4x4

I second Shade's comments. I'd get a cheap daily driver and get it done and dialed in so when you do retire, you don't have to screw around with another van.

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

I saw this van today in Manchester, TN. I about broke my neck when I drove past it. Price seems a little steep, but it does look like a time capsule inside. I'm sure it's an 85, not a 95.

Dodge Ram 4500 Tradesman 4x4 6.7L Cummins Diesel Pickup

I would want to know how many hours are on the engine, if I was interested in it. During my short time in the oil field, trucks like that would sit idling for many hours.

2003 Ford E450 7.3L 33k miles $13,499. Not mine and I don't know the people selling it. I stumbled on this one today sitting in a parking lot. It would make a perfect work vehicle for me, if it wasn't for the windows on the right side. It is in fantastic shape...

    Requesting quiet....

A buddy has a 07 GMC van KUV with the Duramax and I drove it for a few days a couple weeks ago and was surprised how quiet it was. I wonder what is different about yours.

    100 Year Old OBA

I thought some of you might like this. I was doing a job for a customer and they had a bunch of antiques in the garage. They had this old hand pump that would be mounted to a cars running board. It's a Dead Easy from Globe Manufacturing circa 1917.

    Used 4X4, won't move now

Make sure you chock your wheels, especially if you decide to go under it and mess with the linkage. Does it just sound like it's in neutral when you give it throttle? If so, that means it can just roll without the parking brake on. On an F700 I drove for a company I used to work for, I would...

1st gen Trooper 4 cyl any good?

I've got an 88 with a 4cyl and auto transmission. There are times I wish it had more power, but I'm happy with it overall. I do have the "Jerry" camshaft from Jerry Lemond, though. The engines do have their quirks. You have to retorque the heads every so often to help from blowing a head gasket...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

The interior looks to be in decent shape based on the pics in the ad. My van is almost identical. The 5.4L moves it just fine. I've pulled cars on trailers and other heavy equipment without wishing I had more power.

1994 Land Cruiser "barn find" 18k miles (no pics)

Sorry folks, no pics. I know, I know. I was doing some work for a guy and he had a car under a car cover and I inquired what it was. It was a 94 Lexus LS400 with 60k miles and he hasn't driven it in a few years. Then he says, I've got a 94 Land Cruiser in the other garage with only 18k miles and...

    Ford 6.0L PSD

Even with the lower MPG, you'll come out ahead with the gas engine. Diesel repair costs are astronomical and not to mention the initial added cost for a diesel engine and higher cost of diesel fuel.
