Winch bumper for a 2003 Montero sport?

There are litanies of tutorials on youtube showing you how to use SketchUp, it's no that tricky to pick up. If you really want to start designing stuff, Fusion 360 offers free subscriptions for hobbyists. It has a bit steeper learning curve, but there are also near limitless free guides and...

Winch bumper for a 2003 Montero sport?

One option I've seen others use to design either an entirely original bumper, or just adapter plates to modify an existing one, as you linked, is using something like SketchUp, https://www.sketchup.com/ Once you're happy with it, print it all out and create a cardboard mock up to verify...

Question for ES_97Sport about 97-99 MS ECU

I'm not sure if Edward is still active on here or not, but his site is still up and has a ton of info on ECUs as well as other components; he does great/detailed write ups: http://www.4x4extremesports.com/index.php?http://www.4x4extremesports.com/montero_sport_ecu_ecm.php Nonkjo, you may...

    Mighty Max 4WD on copart

It looks really clean... The 'SPX' was the top trim level if I'm not mistaken, the dual tach/speedo dash and center console are HIGHLY sought after. Cool colorway too, I don't think I've ever seen a Gen 2 MM/D50 with either that exterior or interior color.

CAUTION/AVOID Adventure Driven Designs in AZ

Pleased to report that after placing my replacement order directly with Marks4WD.com at about 12pm on 2/9/21, they arrived yesterday afternoon, 2/15/21, despite the wild snow storm the PNW endured over the weekend. I can't recommend ordering directly from Marks4WD highly enough. They were...

FYI - Stolen Delica from Bend, OR / '92 L300 Diesel Chamonix w/CO Plates

Just saw this on the Delica forum and thought I'd post to spread the word: https://delicaforum.com/index.php?threads/stolen-delica-please-help.3315/ I'm sure everyone here can empathize with how much it would/does suck having a vehicle stolen and they're unique enough that most Mitsubishi...

CAUTION/AVOID Adventure Driven Designs in AZ

A strong endorsement for paying with paypal and/or a credit card whenever possible, they'll cover your ****** when dealing with bad actors. Happy to liven up the forum for everyone, hoping it ends up saving others much of this hassle.

CAUTION/AVOID Adventure Driven Designs in AZ

Had my experience with him been an isolated incident, I think the diplomatic line you're striving to toe would have more legitimacy. However since posting about this, I've heard from more than 10 others, here and on other platforms, who have had similarly negative experiences with Josh/ADD, many...

CAUTION/AVOID Adventure Driven Designs in AZ

After knowing what I do now, I'd caution attributing that to any good nature on Josh’s behalf rather than a self serving maneuver to protect his own interests. I paid for the gears via Paypal and told him directly I was more than willing to pursue recourse through them, likely motivating him to...

CAUTION/AVOID Adventure Driven Designs in AZ

Being self employed, a chronic insomniac, and an unheated shop, in the middle of Feb, I've plenty of time and have never minded writing. I also felt it was important to provide everyone with the full context and facts, accompanied with all relevant emails, messages, tracking data, etc so they...

CAUTION/AVOID Adventure Driven Designs in AZ

Placed my order for replacement gears directly through Marks4WD's site today, 2/9/21, at 12pm and by 5pm this afternoon received tracking info and confirmation they were already in transit with a expected delivery date of 2/15/21. They were super easy to deal with, responded to my inquiry right...

New Dobinson Gen 3 Montero/Pajero Lift Kit Option

Good to know, I'm a ways off from shocks with my project and have been leaning heavily toward the Konis, but will bend you ear when the time comes, though I'll have leafs/torsions so my options are always a bit more limited.

New Dobinson Gen 3 Montero/Pajero Lift Kit Option

The Raids do look like the preferred choice, I'll give you that, unfortunately Koni only offers the Heavy Tracks, which are a bit less robust, for my project's application. Hard for anyone to go wrong with Konis though.

New Dobinson Gen 3 Montero/Pajero Lift Kit Option

Please allow me to muddy the water a bit more here, but have any of you ever looked into Ultimate Suspension from Australia? They've a seemingly stellar reputation on many of the Australian forums, supposedly offer incredible customer service, and are fully rebuildable and manufactured in...

Thanks It's been amusing to see the various reactions. As I wrote privately to another member, the pool of contributors here that I respect and whom seem to actually know and share any substantial and/or valuable information is not only incredibly small, but have been nearly universal in...

CAUTION/AVOID Adventure Driven Designs in AZ

Maybe, maybe not, had Josh stepped up and taken any responsibility, things could have gone very differently. I clearly posted all relevant info so everyone can decide for themselves if they're a business/person you want to spend your money with. I've little doubt many won't bother to read it...
