Trading for a Kodiak fell through. Shipping via Fedex freight LTL from Phoenix to Seattle (resedential delivery) cost $423.99. Ouch. If anyone has a better way to ship these tents I'm all ears. Until then the tent is still for sale.

Thanks for the bump, bunduguy. FWIW, I love the tent as do my two boys. It's just not big enough for the three of us and as they get bigger (11 and 13) it will only get worse. It sleeps great (thick canvas makes for a cave like sleeping area with the windows zipped up). And it stays cool...

We do an anual backpack fishing trip to the black river in eastern AZ every year. Filtered creek water is what we drink. Some guys that go have cheaper filters that are capable of processing water quicker than this MSR. I don't know if it was ADD or if they were just not patient enough but...

Don't know a thing about that filter. Mainly because I'e run this one for the past 16 years and have never needed to use something else. Actually, I've run the same filter I purchased 16 years ago...
