Tell Larry that the guys over on the Portal want him to paint those liners. I'm sure that will illicit some words. :D

Second the Tuff Country's, if they can carry all the weight. Wonder in the end if you're going to have to come up with something semi-custom to get it like you want it.

2020 Power Wagon JUXI Build and Trip Thread

Yup, physics are a bitch. You want load capacity or do you want articulation. Pick one. I cheat a bit with airbags in cradles in the rear and Thuren front springs, but I'm under the GVWR of an equivalent 6.4, 2500HD, 4x, crew cab, level1 trim... (which I think is 12-13k) And no way in hell...

Meh, dunno about that statement, I'm at 10k loaded with my PW.

3rd Gen Ram 2500/Power Wagon Reliability

If maintained, I don't see why 300k+ would be unexpected. I've really not come across many negative comments regarding the 6.4 (some lifter/exhaust tick when cold, diff from 5.7). 6 speed life is probably more questionable vs. the ZF. As to what the interior will be like...

Ram Tradesman w/power wagon option VS Gladiator rubicon/mojave

Meh, I don't know about the real need of that skid. In the past 3 years I've been all over AZ, UT, CA and I do some pretty hairy ****, not a scratch. (Radius arms, another story...) I thought about that skid, but I'm already at 9.5k, not sure I'm ready to hang that much more tinsel to the tree...

Ram Tradesman w/power wagon option VS Gladiator rubicon/mojave

You'll be so much happier with that up-level from Tradesman and the 8.4. Trust me! Silver is a good second option to white. 😁 You should be happy. There hasn't been a place yet that I've wanted/needed to go to yet here in the Southwest (AZ,MX,CA,UT) that the PW has not gone. Little dicey on...

Braided Air Line for Compressor options

OP, once you get your heat resistant leader hose figured out, use nylon air brake lines. Super easy to work with, when warm anyway... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074KD1DCH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Ram Tradesman w/power wagon option VS Gladiator rubicon/mojave

You're listening to the wrong sites. It is the same 5 link rear, unless the panhard length is PW specific due to static ride height axle centering. Get some airbags in Daystar cradles, or convince Don Thuren to spin us up some custom Four Wheel Camper rear PW heavy coils. All loaded up I'm...

Power Wagons should only come in white... :sneaky:

Ram Tradesman w/power wagon option VS Gladiator rubicon/mojave

Get the Waggy. FWIW, I'm glad I didn't get a Tradesman version like I thought I wanted. The bigger 8.x Uconnect opened up a host of things that I added later with AlfaOBD. Mine might be a tier 1? (tow mirrors was the only other option) It has yet to fail to take me where I've wanted to go even...

    2015 Ram 2500 Carli/Thuren Build W/Four Wheel Camper

If you're doing a FWC in a PW, go airbags with Daystar cradles. Retain articulation and have adjustability.

Eating crow....2018 Ram Power Wagon build

Thinking about those Kenwoods too, even though I've never been overly inspired by their speaker line. But it is a simple drop-in help for our trucks. Curious about your deadening on the doors though. In reading your description you matted the inner (outer) metal door skin, but did you put it...

Surprised there aren't case mfg's that make a case with a pop out lens hood to help with lens flare. While my X has been a trooper in its Mous case, I'm ready for the 12! Good vid and info 4X

Do you regret buying a base model truck?

I'm pretty positive that the 8.2 is a requirement for some mods like the single zone auto climate control and I wouldn't doubt for the remote start, but with some poking around on other forums you could find out. Couple of other things I forgot to mention, you can directly swap out the...
