What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Maintenance day! One of my axle seals was FUBAR. I was glad to have access to a 12 ton hydraulic press to get this all off and the new ones pressed back on.

Tell me more about that rear tire carrier. I've been considering something like that for a while. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

It seems like it's been a long time since I've posted on here. Time to fix that! Here's one from a couple weeks ago along the Denali Highway in Alaska. PS, yes I know my 14 year old springs are sagging and the bumper is FUBAR'D. I'm working on it. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

That's an awesome idea! Hopefully it survives the daily blast of road debris. How'd you hook that up? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Post up your drawer/storage system

Does anyone have experience using a combination of Rollerblade bearings and square tubing to make drawer slides? I'd love to purchase some high quality slides but I likely will not be keeping my current vehicle for a long enough time to make that money well spent. Good slides seem to be the most...

    Post up your drawer/storage system

I have seen those in person and they are awesome! Let me know if you don't hear back from them right away. I'm friends with the owner and can pass the message. He does great work though and I'm sure prices them reasonably. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    Post up your drawer/storage system

That is exactly like what I have in mind for my wife's Yukon XL. Could you provide some info on what materials you used and about how much the project cost? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

I didn't even realize that was you and your JK at the NWOR. I walked right past your camp at least a half dozen times while I was there. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

InssssssssVANity!!!!!!!......or WTF did I just fly to Maine to by a Sprinter!

Totally random but I think you passed me today on I-25 north bound just south of the tech center. I was in the black XJ pulling a gray trailer with a RTT.

    Kitchen Kit/Chuck Box

Hopefully you've added some reinforcement to that box. Every one that I've seen has been well abused and on the verge of falling apart. I like the idea though! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

The 4x4 Podcast Expedition Trailer Build Journal

Thanks Mark! It tracked nicely on the trip down to see you but the true test will be soon. And the Jeep hasn't yet pulled the trailer a long distance yet. The expectation of adventure went up exponentially with the Jeep pulling thee trailer. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

The 4x4 Podcast Expedition Trailer Build Journal

Well I'm sitting in line so I figured I'd post an update. I'll have to back up a bit and give the background and fill in the details that I missed before. I bought a couple pieces of flat bar stock and bent them into some straps to hold the water tank in place. I used 2" vinyl hose to connect...

The 4x4 Podcast Expedition Trailer Build Journal

Bam! The box is (mostly) on the trailer! Now that's progress! I need to pick up a couple handles to help lift and maneuver the box into place since there is no way to get your fingers under the box once you set it down. But that can wait. There is plumbing, electric, and lights to work on...

The 4x4 Podcast Expedition Trailer Build Journal

I didn't get as much done as I would have liked because I got tied up running errands with my family for the upcoming trip through Canada to Alaska. Maybe I'll be able to get some more progress made later tonight though. #BabyPassport I did get a bit done though. All the doors are hung and...

The 4x4 Podcast Expedition Trailer Build Journal

This week there will be a lot of progress made since I have officially completed grad school and I have a few days off from work. The painting is complete and it's time for final assembly of major components. Once that's done I'll take it out for a test drive to the weigh station to get an...

The 4x4 Podcast Expedition Trailer Build Journal

I'm long overdue for an update on this project. *Life has kept my pretty busy so whenever I wasn't tied down to school/work/family stuff I've been slowly making progress on the trailer. *I've been posting a bunch of picture over on my instagram (https://instagram.com/the4x4podcast/) so here's...
