Mojave Gladiator - Desert Rated Jeeps

I would like to see this package on a JL. I've always been a minimal lift and big tire kind of guy. Just give me a leveling kit and 37s on a Mojave JL and I'd be a happy camper. I would also like the seats from the High Altitude, but I'm not willing to pay for those.

    Collection of Trailer Builds

This is Tugger. He just crossed 20,000 miles. Originally started as a "I wonder if I could build one myself" kind of experiment, and has basically gone through continual changes since, and will see a few more this year while still staying simple and light.

    Trip Report: Death Valley Christmas

Great trip report. My son and I were there a week after you. Were there deep footprints at the racetrack when you were there? Because there were when we were. Someone had walked out around the island and back making two tracks that were an inch or two deep, and it was terrible to see. I tried...

I too am in northern UT, so if you want I'll periodically drive by your place honk my horn and yell at you to get back to work on this.

Diesel Gladiator with a Manual!!! Is it coming 2020?

Yes the 4.0 makes a higher percentage of it's total power down low in the rev range, but by 1500rpm the 3.6 makes more torque than the 4.0 makes at any RPM, and by 3000rpm it makes more power. I loved the 4.0 in my old TJ, but the 3.6 in my JK has been flawless for 130,000 miles and has been...

    Jeep Museum Coming Soon

Jeeps have always been popular in the mountain states. These days they're popular everywhere though, with the wrangler even outselling the Camry.

JKU / JLU as a family travel vehicle

My son, dog, and I have camped all over the country in my 2 door JK. As long as you only bring what you need and don't get caught up in the "but what if X happens? We should bring Y, just in case." game a JKU/JLU will be a great camping vehicle for the 3 of you.

2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 3.0L EcoDiesel

I have broken 23mpg a few times with my 2 door JK (3.6). I don't see any reason the diesel can't get up to 30mpg.

1000 HP Maximus Gladiator to see limited release soon

That's Hennesssee. He says he has a 1000hp Gladiator, but what he means is he's planning to have a 1000hp gladiator some day. It probably still had the 3.6 in it.

1000 HP Maximus Gladiator to see limited release soon

I don't even want to spend the crazy money for a regular Gladiator, let alone nearly a quarter million dollars for one of these.

Thoughts on the Edelbrock supercharger for JK

Re-gearing to 4.56 or 4.88 will help you maintain or slightly improve your current power feel when going to bigger tires, but based on what you're saying (32" or 33" tires and looking for power on the highway) I think you're on the right track with the supercharger. Maybe my butt dyno is...

    Gladiator XMT

The Gladiator has a 9 inch longer wheel base than the Colorado or the Tacoma, and about 5.5 inches longer overall. (these are all in the 4 door short bed configuration) It's also the most expensive when fully equipped.

2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 3.0L EcoDiesel

$4,000 option + $2,000 8 speed auto option. The 8 speed in the V6 is going up in price to $2,750, so diesel is essentially a $3,250 option over the equivalent V6. Not bad.

    Gladiators on the Rubicon Trail

They ran some trails with Lone Star Drift in his Humvee, and Kevin mentioned it would be somewhere around $150,000 (without their sponsorships).

    Possible on a 2dr?

I considered jumping up to a JLUR or JTR, but I just could not bring myself to pay their prices. I used to think the Tacoma was overpriced, but now the TRD offroad almost looks like a bargain.

    Gladiators on the Rubicon Trail

There's a guy on these videos that ran it with a small lift and 37s. Gotta pick your lines carefully, but he did it.

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Olympic OffRoad. It's basically the same weight as the factory bumper beam. The powder coating wasn't the best, but it was pretty cheap and has been a good bumper.
