    Laptop Based GPS Software options?

If you are going to use a Garmin USB receiver then you'll need a translator if you are also using NG TOPO! State; I use GpsGate and it not only works great, it is very easy to setup and get going. Here's a link to my system.

Say what? What you say here makes no sense to me at all. Please explain what you mean.

    Post your Camp Awnings

I had this custom made to fit my trailer and it works great. I can leave out any two adjacent poles and that side folds down evenly and smoothly.

    Sardines?

LMAO :jump: Ok, so humor me on this. Are these little fish even gutted prior to putting them in the can? Cause if they aren't then that means the poop shoot and everything is still in them little fishies.

Best setup for a family of 5

That's a hoot!! My wife and I thought the exact same thing and actually "fixed" it so we won't have anymore than the 3 that we have now. Here's our current setup and it works great for our family of 5; kids are currently girl:9, girl:7 and boy:4.

    Freezer/Fridge size for family ...

Hi Steve. Long time no talk ehh? I'm just curious, why have you ruled out the ARB 50QT?

    Freezer/Fridge size for family ...

I couldn't agree more with what SHOGUN has outlined above. We are a family of 5 and purchased the ARB 50QT last year just prior to our Lolo Motorway/McGruder Corridor trip in Aug. '09. The trip was 10 days and we planned our time and location so that after 5 days we could restock. It was quite...

Rubicon Express Front Track Bar Situation

I ended up leaving the previous bushing in place because it didn't look like it was bad. However, when I wiggle the steering wheel, I still have a tiny bit of slop. But I drove it around and on the freeway and it's much, much better than it was previously. Maybe I'll get the urge to unbolt the...

Rubicon Express Front Track Bar Situation

You seem to know your way around just fine. You are exactly correct about a std. bolt fitting tightly in the hole. I got the 1/4" replacement pieces built today and a 9/16" bolt fits perfectly (not a press fit) in the RE bushing sleeve. Zero slop. I built a front and a back repair piece that...

Simple and easy to install I also went with the isolator method. Here's a link to my install in this forum. Complete with many installation pictures.

Rubicon Express Front Track Bar Situation

Thanks for the links. I knew there were people who'd seen what others have done. That's one of the reasons why this site is so cool! Many brains are much better than just one. Guess what my next project is.

Rubicon Express Front Track Bar Situation

Hello- I have an '08 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the 4-1/2" Rubicon Express long arm lift; the lift has been on the Jeep since 300 miles and the Jeep now has 15,700 miles. I recently noticed a slop in the steering and upon further inspection found that it was coming from the track bar. The...

BenchMark Dual Battery Tray... et al

Project is complete! I’m happy to report that I was able to find the time to finish this project yesterday (Sat.). I ordered and received the 200A Power Gate from Perfect Switch. I’ll also mention that I got superb service from Scott on the phone, and after placing the order I had the switch 2...

BenchMark Dual Battery Tray... et al

Another phase in the record books. Another phase is in the books. Today I finished all the wiring for the accessories to include the PIAA lights, Lind adapter (for laptop), yellow accessory wire to the trailer, 12V accessory plug to the rear, and I even moved the CB onto the new fuse panel...

BenchMark Dual Battery Tray... et al

Thank you!! I've been waiting to finish up the project based on this question. Now I can get it finished. The main reason I was waiting is because of my trailer wiring. I have a 7-pin connector, and I want to leave everything except the aux. (yellow) wire connected to the OEM battery so that...

BenchMark Dual Battery Tray... et al

Question OK, I have a question that I'm sure somebody can answer and I'm hoping can also help me out. I have the fuse block pictured below that I am going to install and will be fed from the second battery. As stated previously, my goal is to keep the batteries completely isolated. Does this...

BenchMark Dual Battery Tray... et al

I actually haven't ordered an isolator yet but I will in the next week. I've pretty much decided to go with the Power Gate by Perfect Switch. That's the reason why I'm not worried about this new battery not being the same as the OEM battery; they will never be hooked together unless there is an...

BenchMark Dual Battery Tray... et al

Well, I finally decided to order a battery tray. Although I'm fairly certain that I could have fabricated my own, I just didn't feel like it in this case. I ordered the one from Benchmark and although it seems a bit pricey, it's an excellent build and very well thought out. I honestly just...
