    Snow Peak Addiction

I went on the Snow Peak web site today to get some more adjustable IGT 660/830 legs - Sku 191. They aren't there anymore, I wrote Snow Peak Customer Service to ask, this is what they wrote... "Thank you for contacting Snow Peak. Yes, the adjustable legs have been discontinued for the time...

Chairs for men of substantial dimensions?

I haven't tried the Alps King Kong, but I have 3 of the Camp Chairs they are rated to 425. Now that I know about the King Kong, I may get one. I am 6' 330 - the problem withe Camp Chair is that it isn't compact when stored. It is like a heavy duty directors chair. But I leave one in my van all...

2-Door JK JeepKitchen - AT Chaser - Globetrotter - National Luna build thread

Hi Jacob, I am new to your thread. I was interested in the part around post #40 with the 2 burner Snow Peak stove (I have one). How were you suppling the fuel to the stove, since you normally screw the Iso Butane bottles to the bottom? I assume you had some aux hoses. But were you sending...

The best camping pillow I've found...

I took a memory foam pillow car camping once to one of the Overland Expo's, I found out when it got cold, the foam got hard. The next day I bought a Nemo Fillo inflatable from one of the vendors. It isn't inexpensive, but I have had it for 5 years and I use it all the time. When not camping it...

Not a fan of the sitting - coffee table height. It seems like that is the only way it comes. As Motoz said they are expensive.

In the Southwest US there are few times when you can have an open fire. This might be a good alternative. Edit - sorry had not seen the above postings when I replied.

I haven't heard these Amazon rumors and I have only had a few minor problems. I order from Amazon a lot. I have a BBQ Box I got from the SP website, it isn't super level but not like what that picture shows. It seems to be off by like an 1/8" on one side, never noticed before. I would just...

I have the Volcano III and the Large Pack and Carry, I think that would work if you could get the propane burner lower. As low as that burner footprint could go in that inverse pyramid. You would just have to make a smaller rest for the burner and get the tube to the burner by drilling a hole...

My large Pack & Carry came with a light weight nylon bag, that was a about 8 months ago. It is ok, nothing like the canvas version. Hope that helps.

He has all of those IGT photos in a backyard about how it is a great way to have a communal meal, the Japanese style of Yakatori style cooking where everyone sits and cooks together. "The IGT System also presents a viable alternative to the dedicated grill for backyard barbeques with family and...

Wow that was weird. I have bought a Baja stove from John and little bits and bobs, kovea and related gear. That whole rant was really weird, I was looking to see if it was all in certain time frame, but it wasn't. Meaning I was looking for a mind altering session. I would not have had clue if...

"Snow Peak's journey began in 1958, when our founder Yukio Yamai, an accomplished mountaineer, created his own line of superior climbing gear out of the discontent for the current gear on the market." "Presently, the next generation of the Yamai legacy is being brought forward by Yukio's...

Affordable portable shower, seen this one?

I have the regular Nemo and it works really well, starts small. I didn't know about the LX until your post though. I don't think I would pour boiling water into it though, also if you leave it in the sun it does get warm.

They followed up with an email about the shorter IGT Extension "Regular" being available. Which between the 2 of them the long and short cover a 4 unit IGT frame. I ordered 2 of each. I just got the long extensions today and expect the shorter version soon. Very happy, I have not even seen these...
