Seem to be a few Antipodeans I've met travelling in this style.
Last time we travelled, we met a retired couple of Kiwis that had just completed a trip from NZ via Mongolia, Russia etc.
We met them in Iceland while they were making the most of it...

In the UK we're being discouraged from travelling, locals in some places are even protesting about people with second homes in the countryside travelling from cities if you believe everything in the media.
