Thank you all for sharing your thoughts.
I should have mentioned that we plan to be using this pretty regularly. We are on the road weeks / months at a time. When we are remote, with minimal water options, we like to shower at least every 4 days. Historically, we take 2-2.5G showers each...
Thank you for the suggestions. I will take a look at both options more closely. I did see that there was a 12V option for the Zodi pump as well.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
May our paths cross again soon.

My husband and I have used many different options for showers for the road including:
Solar shower bags
We are looking for recommendations for a 12V pump / hot water option that can be used with a bucket or 5G Scepter of water.
What are you using?
We just stopped at Alaskan Campers today and chatted with Bryan about a custom 11', flatbed, non-cabover possibility. We also have been talking to Ryan from Bahn Camperworks about a custom camper build. Time will tell...
Thank you for your thoughts.
Thank you. I will search Craigslist and see what I can find. Hopefully our paths cross again. We enjoyed spending time with you as well...
Enjoy the warmth down there, it's in the single digits in MT the last few days.
Charlie, we have the Atlas 4x4 subframe so it will have the diamond system. We were hoping to keep the spare tire location as we want two spares. We already have an aux fuel tank and the larger fuel tank in the standard location.
Sadly we are the ones working with AeroContinental. I do not want to go into any details, but we are exploring our options. We are open to already made boxes, having something built, or buying a complete expedition rig and transplanting the box to our Unimog.
Let me introduce myself...
My name is LeeWhay and my husband, Ryan and I, bought a 1990 U1300L with the hopes of outfitting it and traveling for 2+ years in varying climates.
We thought we had a camper solution, but it doesn't seem to be working out...
Does anyone have a line on existing...
For those of you who use induction cooking in your expedition vehicle, what do you use?
We are looking for a countertop, single burner induction cooktop (120V) for our Unimog camper.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
My husband and I are having a custom camper built for our Unimog U1300L and are trying to figure out awning solutions for the rear of it (88 inches). I have spoken to Hannibal in South Africa and we can either go with the standard Safari Awning in a custom size 2.2M or the 270...

Never used for human waste. Trialed on trip with water in it to see if it leaked on rough terrain (No leak noted over 10 days in Death Valley)
We have decided to go with a different solution.
