The long item is a fishing rod holder/lockbox.
The rack almost looks like an ARB of sorts maybe.
It resembles a shorter version of a Gamaviti in a way or even a short BajaRack.
I’ll let the experts chime in!
My understanding is there is a company in NC that does plating work on LCs, and “builds/mods” for special ops units.
I live in Asheville and from time to time the steel 17” wheels from the UAE 200s show up being sold in the Charlotte area.
What are they asking for it?
Might be a decent deal.
I’d start at KBB and NADA private party values and start deducting for obvious repairs and “baseline” needs.
Don’t forgot to ask about the sunroof working, that seems to be a hit or miss. And ask about the seat heaters.
Check A/C for...
I know KBB (FWIW) on my 2000 LC with 450K on it was still over 4K, last year.
The LCs are going up I believe,
I’m second owner though.
If the A/C has had a compressor and evaporator replaced that helps. I’m sure it’s had a steering rack by now, unless all highway miles.
I had em, were super solid and I was very very pleased. Name a little different but I’m pretty sure Titan was the AU name and Dobinsons made it to the US.

However it’s easily remedied with the first GEN model because it’s just a standard double din and a lot of people...
I would steer towards the newer one, mostly because I’m pretty sure it should have a five speed transmission mated up to the engine where as you know the four-speed transmission is the same tranny that was in an 80 series,
Honestly you’re not going to go wrong with either one, just do your...
Anyone care to make a good recommendation for a first handheld GPS for me,
I am new to downloading maps and such and would prefer something I could mount in the vehicle and use as a handheld too.
I’m leaning towards a 60 series Garmin but am not sure which would be a good first unit...
Well only 98 and 99 had the factory locking rear diff.
Some were loaded with options others weren’t. If you want the third row power vent windows you’ll be looking for one with rear A/C. Not all got it though. I’ve seen one w/out it.
2000 had ATRAC from then on.
2001 got “latch” child seat...
