    Warn VR Evo

Got the EVO 10s installed this past weekend, took it out but didn't have the chance to test it. Seems solid. Next week we're heading into the forest for a few days, then to the Rendezvous in the Ozarks Overland Rally. Maybe it will see some use then.

Took the wife, kids, dog and both Jeeps for a few days of camping and wheeling thru the Ozark National Forest. Our first day was spent trekking thru the Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch LINK Good scenery but the trails could have been better IMO. Still better than a day at the office :)...

    JKU 37's

IMO the STT run really small to their stated size, we run them in 37x12.5x17 on our '18 and 40x13.5x17 on our '14. If I remember correctly a 37" really only measures about 35 3/4" depending on your Jeep's weight and PSI. If you go with the 37" Cooper I'd suggest the 12.5" wide instead of the...

Thanks, Chet! I'm sure all those brands are a good axle. I narrowed down my search to Dynatrac and Teraflex, went with TF for a couple of reasons. Teraflex 3.25" tubes compared to Dynatracs 3", both have an option for .5" thickness. Brackets- My buddies with Dynatrac axles have a severe angle...

New JL - Rubi vs Sport for basic Overland travel

For your stated purpose we chose the Sport, I prefer the 2.72 t-case over the 4:1 for overlanding. My Rubi has the 4:1 and I prefer it for rock crawling. Good luck!

JKU suspension upgrade needed - Opinions Welcome

A good suspension setup should be solid at any speed. You carry some extra weight up high, but not enough to make a drastic difference. There are many good lift companies out there, one that I like is Teraflex. They have the Outback Overland Suspension System LINK which is similar to the Alpine...
