    Anything changing with James Baroud?

is this a serious request?! I already think they are too short. That has really been my only real criticism of mine...other than the thousand zippers.

    Lets talk about camp lights

In my experience, the Coleman gas lanterns are cool and provide a lot of light. However, keeping them fueled up, keeping from breaking the glass, melting something that accidentally rubs the hot glass, or arriving at camp to find that the mantle has disintegrated while in transit became just...

    Cracks on James Baroud Evasion

From what I was told by a fiberglass expert, it's more cosmetic.

    Cracks on James Baroud Evasion

Give it a little time. I believe it's way more than one person. Mine has cracks which I reported back maybe two years ago. I've had mine for about 6-7 years now and have well over 100 nights in mine. However, I will say that after several emails with the dealer who I bought it from, they...

New version of Gaia GPS released

If I've been using Motion X gps on my iPad for years and have a lot of saved tracks and waypoints, can I transfer that information over to work in this app?

    Cracks on James Baroud Evasion

My JB started having cracks in the gelcoat but it did take about 3 - 4 years to show and full time exposure to the elements.

    Awning tent

I've used mine a ton in the rain, works great. Just like stated above you really have to give the roof a pitch to shed the water or else it will pool up and collapse one of your poles.

    JB Owners Question

I thought i would write a quick reply regarding my JB and the last camping trip i just took at the outer banks of NC. We knew a big storm was coming, but we had already scheduled the trip almost 3 months out, ferry reservations, food/menu shared, ect.. so we went for it. They were calling for...

    JB Owners Question

This is a photo i found from the last beach trip. Here the pull down is flapping around, but you can see my rear door zips up to the top and all the way around. So i'll just unzip the top corner pull the handle in and zip it back.

    JB Owners Question

i'm positive mine do since that's what i've done in the past. I will be camping on the beach next weekend and that's when it flaps the most, so i'll take a photo.

    JB Owners Question

    Blender, My LX450/FZJ80 + FJ45esk + GM + Land Rover crazy concoction

makes sense. I think there is usually a 4-6 inch lift requirement to keep the arms from hitting. Beautiful truck

    JB Owners Question

haha that has happened to me several times, i literally just unzipped the top of the rear door just enough to pull that strap inside and then zip it closed. Worked for me. Also had a friend show me a trick, he put heat shrink tube on all the zipper handles... mine used to clang around all...

    Post your tents

OK good real world info. Thanks for that. Kind of sad because i hoped they would be a new leader in the fold-over tents. I will say that i've had my JB space evo for about 5 years now. The fiberglass is really starting to look old and cracking. I was told it's just in the gel coat and not...

    Blender, My LX450/FZJ80 + FJ45esk + GM + Land Rover crazy concoction

Just had a friend have George put an 80 series axle under the front of his 60 series, but they flipped the radius arms to be on top of the axle instead of below. Wondering if you were considering that, or, is this thing too nice to wheel that hard?
