Buying this gem on Friday. Going to be my tight trail rig /commuter , then my sons truck when he starts driving. This will keep the miles off my tundra. 1999 frontier xe 5 speed v6 205k . Super clean.

Picked her up yesterday. One owner. For 206k miles , heck for even 100k miles this thing drives amazingly . Stoked. Will need a paint job. I'm thinking I'm going to diy with a high gloss single stage white. Needs a clutch prob sooner than later , but overall couldn't be happier. Let the modding begin lol

Now that I've had some time to go through it , I got a good list of what needs to be repaired on it . Nothing major at all

Oil pan gasket
Driver window crank *fixed*
Repaint
Tailgate handle
Headliner
Driver center cap
Radiator flush

And that's it. The clutch will likely need attention later on but still grips well right now , just has a low release on the pedal, which leads me to believe it's towards the end of it usefull life somewhat

Congrats, i have a 2000 frontier 2wd, 4 cyl, 5 speed. 300k miles on the clock and still runs perfectly well. Oh, i'm on the factory clutch still, these things last forever.

Putting this little guy to work. More sand and rock deliveries. This thing has quickly become my go to work horse

Also apparently the oil pan gasket has fixed itself. I guess it just needed to be driven more to "recondition " the gasket bc it has stopped leaking.

Unless it's because now you're out of oil :)

Mine seems to leak only when parked facing down hill. Doesn't leak in the garage or driveway unless I park nose town to the street. Haven't gotten around to replacing it yet but hopefully that's all it is!
