Some more updates. Purchase a mint 40year old pfaff 545 and finished the canvas this weekend.

Beautiful sewing! Man, that's not easy to do (at least for me!).

Question - is the pop-up wall two layers thick? Looks like it's green on the outside and white on the inside? If so, I really like that. I went white on my latest edition of my popup to keep the inside bright, but at night it glows like a giant lantern and attracts every bug for miles. I imagine your approach would keep it brighter inside with the windows open or lights on, but not be a pest beacon at night.

So the material is the same stuff they use for military temper tents. You can get green /green , green/black,or green/white backing. The material is so dense my huge led shop light would not light the canvas up on the outside like most do. I believe it is in the design so the tents don’t light up in tactical situations.
