2019 Ford Ranger Build

[Desert Rider]

I have been very pleased with my Ford Ranger purchase, with no issues so far (20K miles). It has been allot of fun to drive, both around town and in the wild. I've done a few mods and added some stuff to get it where I want it (ICON lift, KO2s, removable winch for front and rear use, sliders, skids, Diamondback cover, FrontrunnerOutfitters rack, Rugidgear/Alu-Box storage cases, Tint, mud flaps, bed storage racks, Baja Designs ditch lights, ARB fridge, recovery gear and Maxtrax boards, and camping gear). I still have a few more mods to go...Can't wait until the summer hits!

Nope. we are removing the bed and building a permanent camper for it.

No need to re-gear. The truck (with the 10-speed tranny) didn't even notice the slightly taller tires.

Looks like your Ranger is a Lariat model? Curious what the payload rating on your door sticker is. I think Ford says payload *up to* 1,850. But, thinking that is a 2WD xl Supercab.

255/75/17, Pizza Cutters, ride is nice, although I do feel a slight resistance to switching lanes (minor changes in road elevation or lips on the pavement?) on the freeway?? I think it has to do the skinny tires...

That's not too shabby. I think a lot of loaded up, leathered 1/2 tons have similar payload ratings.
