About 3 weeks ago we found a 1980's Six Pac after looking a few months, not sure which model it is but it has an 8 ft box, Dometic 3-way fridge, dual burner stove, full bed over the cab and a full dinette east-west bed, weight is 1295 lb wet. We will be using it on our 6.5 ft bed f150. So far I have built a 4x8 ft x 4 inch tall platform to clear the cab and attached it to the box of the camper, painted the box and platform to the original black, added rubber bumper spacers to the front of the box, updated all of the interior and exterior lighting to LED, covered all of the exposed exterior edges and corners with aluminum angle, turned the cabover bed into a queen using an extention that is hinged, added a hand railing, and built a removable ladder that swivels to clear the tongue of the boat trailer when we tow the boat. I also built a set of leveling blocks and painted them yellow. Next is to rewire the connections between the camper and hitch plug, replace the exterior water connections and plug storage cover, find some screens for the windows, and maybe replace the fridge. The pictures are not in any particular order, sorry for that, and excuse the mess around the camper.
