Looks like some great rigs in those shots. Also a great time.

I would love more info on the collapsible trailer, ie how it moves up and down, how it seals in each position, how it is raised and lowered, etc. I am thinking about building something similar.

I posted the video a few pages back of the Sherpa. Long story short is that it has an air cylinder in each corner that is supposed to lift 150lbs, they never worked properly so we added the struts to the outside to assist. I use my OBA compressor or a nitrogen tank to raise the top. Deflate the system to bring it down. I wouldn't say that it "seals" in any position. I do have some rubber seals that I can install to seal it off but I rarely use them. I've sent many many nights up there!

Finishing up the mock up of our new 4R75 transmission adapter, super happy with the progress. Chapo is back for some more 12v stuff and a final re torque before being shipped to HI!

Thanks for the info, I found the video. It didn't have the info I was looking for, but you addressed it above. That is a cool box you have built. Neat design.

New arrival from CA, V10. LOVE getting these rigs from the west coast.

Haiti Van teardown! 6" on 37s, this rig will see some serious abuse down there.

I'm a newcomer around here, and it's fun strolling through this thread to see all the sweet vans. However, I'm every bit as excited to see some good ol' Swedish Metal in here too—I love me some Volvo wagons. I see from your sig it's a '93…is it a Classic? It's a great color, too. A little sad to hear you didn't decide to put three pedals into it, but the LS will bring plenty of smiles even with an autotragic. Haha. Volvo didn't send many three pedal wagons over here, but I've somehow managed to track down 5 of them over the years…so, I'm undoubtedly a little biased…. Either way, excited to see more of this one in this thread too!

It's amazing how many guys that I meet thru work are into the same things. Volvos, Lincolns, SHO, etc. Trust me I was torn about converting it to a manual. I'm sure if mine was a classic, was that a special edition? I'll post some more pics of the car, we have the engine in it now. Check out our IG, I post pics and updates to our story often.

My brother bought this unfinished tiny home and the delivery guy put it right in the damn way so I moved it with V7. His truck (or he) gave up and couldn't put it where it needed to be. The drivers a bit steep so I understand. Not far but this thing is heavy! Tried to push me down the hill for sure.

Fresh load of NV271s ready to be prepped for install. We paint the flanges, add a new indicator switch and shifter arm before they ship or get installed.

Looking forward to more pics! Hopefully no one minds a different utilitarian vehicle showing up occasionally in your master build thread. I'm not on social, but I'll try to borrow one of my students phone to check out your IG (I have one who is all about that #vanlife, and will surely become a follower). The Classic was a limited edition—it was the last 1,600 240s to roll off the line in '93. I had a chance to buy one locally, but it was clapped out beyond my skillset.

If someone doesn't like seeing the wagon they can scroll on! It's kind of a van anyway.... :)
