So I am a little behind, but I just started watching the Central America series.
My question is this: why did you get all new drawers and racks for the Tacoma? It was obviously set up for the Alaska Expeditons. Did the requirements change? From what I remember in the Alaska series and what it...
Wow, thanks for the thorough reply so soon. Thanks for the comparison to the Fargo as it is a bike I have been considering for my next purchase.
When questioning the carbon fork, I was questioning more against a steel fork than a suspension fork. I'm a recent steel convert (Miyata 1000) and I...
Im excited about this bike as well. I'm looking forward to reading your review. I hope you take it on some routes that are not "perfect" for the bike as well, to see what it is really capable of. I'm also curious to see what you think of the carbon fork. I was surprised by that when I saw it.

I apologize if I misspoke. I remember seeing this bumper for the second gen first. They do look identical. And the first gen version does not go all the way to the front on the wheel well like it does on the second gen and my ARB. To me, I was never happy with fit and finish. But that's just me.
I had only the stock tire size on the first gen wheels. I didn't use the spacers until I got the second gen wheels because they have different backspacing.
