Gladiator Pop-Up Pass Through Camper Build

We use a 5 gal bucket with a seat (like a luggable loo) and a plastic bag filled with sawdust (either from my shop or from the local pet store, if I don't have enough). Solid waste only. It works great. I cover it with a sealed lid for the trip back home and we don't smell a thing.

My "New" Willy's II Trailer Build

Thanks for the tip on those sliders. I just ordered a pair. They solve a (lack of) depth issue I have with the kitchen drawer box I’m building for my truck. Also, this build is awesome. Thanks for documenting everything in such great detail. Your skills seriously impress!!

OVRLND CAMPERS ONLY : Post your OVRLND Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

@dstefan I’ll give that idea some thought next time I have it set up. It sounds more promising than the hinged pole “solution” (read “likely disaster”) that I’ve been dreaming up.

Hey @dstefan. Yeah, thanks for the info. It's a good solution for a rain shedding, moderately wind resistant awning. And yeah, Bud Depot sent me down an entirely different road than VW bus accessories. My current get-out-there vehicle situation may not work with the Keder strip solution, so I...

Hey @dstefan, could you rustle up a link to the Bud Depot awning? I did a little search and came up short. I have a conceptually similar awning from amazon that I like, once set up. But it sure does take longer to set up than I'd like. Also, it's constructed like a Walmart tent, which...

    Aftermarket/Third Party tarp/tent/awning poles

I bought two Kelly adjustable tarp poles (link hopefully working below) several years ago. They are tough. Aluminum tubing, old style spring loaded pin into hole adjustment, no plastic parts. https://www.backcountry.com/kelty-adjustable-pole
