Expensive, but I have one of these that I carry with me because I like tracking the temperature and stuff, it should work and ties to an app in your phone

Good recommendation about the mounting.
I will look at eBay for the 80/20 thanka for telling me about that.
I still have a foot of snow at my house so no hurry, I need to take off the rack and get it repainted too soon whenever you get around to it would be fine with me.
Thanks for doing...
That looks great - I am looking to run a 4 foot awning off the back so I could just orient the 80/20 the other way I guess, I don't see why there would be much more lateral movement then how you have it mounted.
Sign me up, when you are ready to sell, I will take one.
Sadly I recognize the KB...
I have the mid-height KB Voodoo rack on my Tacoma and am trying to figure out how to mount an awning off the back - do you have pictures you could post of your brackets and how they mount up? How did you make them? Did you weld something or was it components from Lowes that you bolted together?
Thanks. This will be the first real summer of use so will see how I do. The only slipping so far is snowy conditions, last fall when we got out it was fine as is but expect to get further with different terrain this summer.

In August I got a 2018 Sport access cab with manual and it has the tech package because it had things I wanted (tushy warmers, heated mirrors are nice when it is cold). We will use if for Forest Service roads mainly and want it to be comfortable driving to get where we want to get off the...
Here is one from KB Voodoo that they should work for your application https://www.kbvoodoo.com/shop/utility-rack-for-tonneau-covers. I have the KB Voodoo mid-height with this adapter (https://www.kbvoodoo.com/shop/utility-rack-for-tonneau-covers) and a Truxedo tonneau that works. I like the...
EBay has a discount today of 15% when you buy and use the code PICKFAST. I says you need to order by 8 PM so they would make the deal even better.

Thanks, I will keep looking around, there is also some serrated aluminum bar grating (https://www.metalsdepot.com/aluminum-products/aluminum-bar-grating?product=1868) that is similar in price. I want metal vs. plastic if I can without paying $350-$400 to get what seems to be available right...
Good point - right side up (open portion of the channel facing down) and was thinking about getting some decent length bolts to run through some of the holes to help with gripping and then also when storing sandwich boards together and use the bolts with wing nuts to keep connected as a single unit.
I am looking for some kind of recovery boards and like metal better than plastic and am trying to find something that will work for me (primarily snow use in the winter).
I found this looking for something else for another project - Grip Strut - Safety Grating -...
I mounted mine to the rail system with the t rail nuts from Hondo Garage (good price and can install without taking anything else off to slide the nuts). The quick connect leaked and I just went to Lowe's and got a brass garden hose quick connect and it works fine now.
