Hey all,
Nothing new with the truck. But I did score a Coleman 4 person tent, and Coleman Camp Kitchen to go with my current Coleman table. Looking forward to doing some camping this new year.
Traded in my Jeep Cherokee and the Fiancés Jeep Grand Cherokee for a brand spanking new 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4.
So I'm temporarily out of commission until I can find a replacement for the jeep. I'm thinking at 1998-2004 Grand Cherokee.
All, thanks! Lot's of good info. Just out of curiosity, why do you think that 400 would be an issue? If I am trying to reach out that far accurately and consistently, would it behoove me to go up in caliber?
I looked at those, the only problem I thought I might have is the sight picture with the post still there.... Do you have any issues with the optic and post co-witnessing/
I wasn't at the moment, my M&P Shield will get the trigger upgrade first. After the FF tube, optics are next on the list (Nikon P-223 however not sure what magnification I want to use). I thought I was able to get the hand guard off without having to remove the gas block?
I saw that, would the price of getting the A2 cut down cost about the same as the new gas block and pins? Yes the FDE Midwest Gen 3 M-Lock is most likely what i'll wind up getting. Mine was the Magpul MOE edition in FDE.
Hey guys,

Hey all,
I am looking at free-floating my M&P15. I like the Midwest Industries barrel length handguard and something like a Yankee Hill Low-pro gas block. The point of the build will be as sort of a SDMR(?), tack driver out to about 400 yards. So Nikon P-223 optics, free float, and bipod. What...
