We are Anna and Pablo, Spain & Argentina, travelling around the world since june 2000. We've been through Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa from Cairo to Cape Town; we crossed the Southern Atlantic Ocean in a fishing vessel during 23 days and went all the way from Ushuaia (at the southern tip of the American continent) to Prudhoe Bay in Alaska and Newfoundland in Canada. We drove the Pan American Road; the Dalton Hwy. in Alaska; the Trans Amazon Rd. in Brazil; the Road 40 in Argentina; the Dempster Rd., the James Bay Rd. and the TransLabrador Rd. in Canada; and the Cape to Cairo Road, across Africa...
We don't have sponsors, just some companies that give us their products. All the rest, the money for gas, food and spares we work it out on the road. We rent our appartment in Barcelona, Spain, write books and articles to magazines (Overland Journal in the U.S., Lonely Planet and Altaïr in Spain), give talks and accept almost all the invitations to beer, barbecues and improvements to La Cucaracha (The Cockroach, our 4x4 van) we are offered en route.
We have written 3 books in spanish and one of them AROUND THE WORLD IN 10 YEARS: THE BOOK OF INDEPENDENCE has been translated into English and is available in Amazon.com and Kindle.
After more than 14 years overlanding the world, the story still goes on. When are we going to finish? Finish? Are you joking?

This is not an overland trip. This is an overland manifesto.

We like dirt tracks, dig in ghost towns and get lost to find places that aren't on the maps.
