Nice ! The Honda Pilot is a good vehicle and the vtm 4wd system is good. Readylift makes a. Spacer lift kit wh Vh should give you a couple of inches clearance.will also let you get taller all terrains.
Check these guys out - ADF- https://andersondesign-fab.com/ ... there are tons of subie owners (outback, forester, crosstrek) with ADF lift kits. Have heard pretty good things aboutt hem. You can get a 2 inch lift with the multi link spacers for rear to center the wheels and throw in larger tires.

yes sorry to digress but I doubt wht these TFL guys are doing ... there are folks on this forum who have taken their outbacks to much rougher terrain than the one in this video. Grant Wilson who had a lift with all terrains had taken it to places which most crossover owners would not even dream...
Nissan did have cvt issues many years ago in their first gen of cvt trans. They have come a long way since and reliability is good. I drive a Suzuki SX4 awd cvt with a 1 inch lift and much larger than stock all terrains. 85k and no issues so far, it has seen lots of mild off road trails.
245/65/17 works with stock 17 inch rims with no lift and with the 2 inch lift with rear subframe spacers. the 2 inch lift pushes the rear wheels forward so to accommodate bigger tires you need rear subframe spacers.
With a 1 inch lift 235/65/17 works without subframe spacers. It costs $150 for...

The deposit for Bottles is a legislation in Alberta. As for gas yes we pay a lot more than you guys as it includes all kinds of taxes including a carbon tax in some provinces.
