The Christmas season is fast approaching, and although it's far too early for me to get "into the spirit", it's not too early to get started with planning and prepping local food and toy bank collection drives!

    Organization and storage solutions.

Current setup of my rig. I use a Synergy basket to raise gear off the floor as it's largely my sleeping platform. I may fabricate a raised sleeping platform this January in preparation for a longer trip. I don't run a fridge at the moment either, so I get to save space by not having one. a...

Finally installed some new rear sway bar links. I still had been running the short OEM sway bar links since, well, forever and with the coil spacers I had done earlier this year the rear sway bar just wasn't doing it's job as well as it should. Before install, the rear sway bar was at a -27...

Repairs are done and problems all solved for now. In summary, right rear brake pad assemble was shot - despite being told my brakes were fine. A dealership did a brake inspection merely by looking through the wheels at brake pad amounts. A $50 brake inspection apparently isn't much of an...

Curious to see the answers in this thread too... I tried a hitch mount, but because the "kitchen" is out of the back of the Jeep, got rid of it shortly after buying it as I couldn't open the door - even with the hitch tipped down and an extension. Went with the Thule "Spare Me Pro", works...

So, a few posts above I indicated that I had a few problems (and subsequent repairs) done on the expedition Jeep this summer and fall. I better catch everyone up to what the symptoms where, and what the solutions were so if you experience something similar with your Jeep it might help out...

I try to stay very conscious of things like that and take that into account in my camping locations. Now, after the photo of me leaving here, there was a few days of heavy rain - a few others didn't take flooding into account and were somewhat stranded (2' deep and fast flowing where I came up...

Still the stock 3.21 gearing. I've wanted to upgrade, but then, everything is running fine for me now - so I'm tempted to just leave things alone until something 'breaks'.

Some of you might be interested in these window screens. Cool idea, I'm looking forward to putting them to the real test over the next few days!
