Our last RV, a big New Horizons 5th wheel, had 8 foot ceilings in some spots. When you add them up, we have over 9 inches of insulation in the floor and ceiling combined in this trailer. If we were willing to compromise on insulation and were willing to go over 10 feet in height, we could easily...
I would start off by saying anyone interested in an RV should focus entirely on getting the model that most closely meets exactly the way you will be camping and the ability of your camping tribe to handle close spaces. If you do this, you'll end up with something that you'll get a lot of use...
Looks like a well made trailer. The whole premise behind all of the "mods" is so silly there isn't room here to mock them all. It's good that it's bright orange. That way when doomsday arrives we can easily see it coming and punch all kinds of holes in it with your basic .300 Winchester Magnum...
Same here. Even a service rep from Expion tried to blame Kingdom Camping and the install. This after we had an independent solar electrician (Randy Gardner) and an Expion tech specialist (who configured our system) declare that the installation was excellent. A lot of customer service trailing...
"Propex will make you spend weeks troubleshooting before they will let you send it in for repair. Then who knows how long to get it back. They are so quick to blame all issues on install."
That's the same exact customer service we're getting from Victron on our inverter right now.
Too many manufacturers these days are in the business of finding ways to NOT honor their warranties. They're often better at that than manufacturing! If Dexter is "so concerned" about their product being used on non-Dexter axles that it voids the warranty, then maybe they shouldn't sell their...
That's a scary one! This is the kind of post that is really useful. The problems are usually more educational than the cool camping photos. We're having a problem with Victron warranty service right now. Depending on how it works out, I may be doing a "bad/costly experience with Victron" post...
I responded to your message to me on the conversation side as well.
With the 12v Dometic AC, a large solar/battery system on any trailer will run for a long time off of solar/batteries. The XL comes with a huge solar array and lithium battery bank (2000+watts/1,100+AH). Unit #2 is due to be...
I don't know what an Arkto costs, but you can generally pick up a late model used Elite II for anywhere from $60k to $75k. If you're a campground camper, one of those would be an excellent choice. They are also a smaller, lighter dual axle that can reach some slightly more interesting spots off...
You said: "The problem with your logic is nobody thinks they are going to have warantee (sic) problems and everybody wants the lowest price." That's where we disagree. I don't think you can put ALL of the millions of RV buyers into the same behavior category(ies). I'm sure you're not someone who...
I love the CM ATX on our Kingdom Camping trailer. We're not seeing any air leakage as we sit in camp, the compressor system is easy to use, and it's incredibly convenient to be able to air up things quickly and easily. We've only been using it for a month, but so far it's a homerun.
