4x4 Econoline Big Brake Conversion - Master Cylinder

Hi All - This question is for anyone running big brakes on their Econoline 4x4 conversion. I have an '02 Quigley E350 V10. It has the it has a D60 axle with the GM K30 calipers on the front. I am about to convert this over to either a GM 2500 pickup (circa ~2005 dual piston) or a 2009+ Ram...

    Bend OR Mechanic

Hey Guys, Can anyone recommend a shop in/near Bend Oregon? My 2002 Triton V10 just spit a plug. Bend was the nearest city so we turned up the stereo and made our way there. I have thebhelicoil kit, just need the tools and preferably the hands to do it. Thanks, Paul

    Swing out tire carrier

I don't have any pictures of anything special. I intend to build my own but I haven't made the time to do it yet. My plan is to build a dual swing out for the van. One side will be a tire carrier to replace the Aluminess. I have been less than happy with that. The other side will be a swing...

Troubleshooting Help: GZ Yeti 1400 powering CFX50W

Just updating this with results if anyone is searching for something similar. The Yeti Lithium 12V regulated was the ticket. Plugged it in and the Dometic fired right up. The Yeti is now powering my CFX50, Propex HS2211, Propane alarm, and water pump. The price is a bit steep, but overall I...

Troubleshooting Help: GZ Yeti 1400 powering CFX50W

Thanks Gravity. Member PeteRissler mentioned this in a cross post I had as well. It should be here on Friday. Hopefully this clears it up. I measured voltage into the outlet receiver and it was between 10.8 and 11.4. So, yeah, a little low.

    Van CAD Programs? Any Feedback

Thanks for all the responses. With my career, I have access to and knowledge of Solidworks and CREO (and a CNC shop). I don't think much CNC work will be needed, as this will be a KISS build. I was just looking for the path of least resistance and avoiding the cold temps outside. Maybe I'll...

    Van CAD Programs? Any Feedback

Hey All - Has anyone used a CAD program like vanspace3d.com or something similar. I am wondering if it is accurate enough to justify the investment (yes, its minimal, but its the point). I Just got my CCV top installed so I get the pleasure of remodeling the van's interior. If I can avoid...

When it's time to sell, do you leave your rig as-is, or pull parts for the next build (if you can)?

Typically I leave everything EXCEPT electrical. At a minimum, I usually pull the main supply wire from the house batteries to the distribution block. For some reason I am uncomfortable with selling a vehicle with heavily modified/added battery and electrical systems. In 300k+ miles of van...
