Do it. The camera is amazing, the accessories are something like 30% off, and the cloud is awesome. Can re-use SD cards if you'd like once the data is stored.

Great choice. The video I just posted demonstrates a few things I was playing around with on the new 10. You'll like it a lot.

No mention of cowboy boots. I wear mine everyday. Comfy, easy to take off and put on, great protection for your feet, I think they are the perfect camping wear. I'd advise to look inside of the boots previous to putting on, never know what could climb in them what you're not looking.

This is amazing. The first photo I posted on this thread was taken in Thialand with the Hero3+. Pretty amazing how good those cameras were and still are.

SUP (stand up paddleboard)? GoPro is releasing or already has, a new battery called the Enduro, although I believe that it is just size for the Hero9 and Hero10. It is supposed to have a longer life and work better in extreme conditions, (ie overheating). Since the above doesn't help your...

No expert here but my thoughts...do you have the latest software installed on the camera? Maybe rather then on and off constantly, try to purchase a couple more batteries so you don't have to concern yourself with conserving battery life?
