It would be nice to use technology on car windows. Dark tint on bright days and it lessens as it becomes night. LCD technology allows for that. It just isn’t in the auto industry yet.

Did a quick search… prices are near equal for (2) Viair 400C vs the CAT10L + 2000w inverter. The difference, the inverter can be used for other electronic devices too. But the compressors can be used for tools.

At $450 for 3 (15 gal), I would buy a square or rectangle RV water tank that holds 3 times more water and 1/3rd the price.

We have a destination if it gets bad. But roads between here and there can be paved to lifted 4x4 only. (Winter vs summer makes a difference too). We have discussed an EMP, and that’s an area I know almost nothing about. I’m sure the older the vehicle the easier it is to prevent EMP damage...

We have a 99 1500 w 250,000 miles. It’s been a good rig but getting to the nickel/dime/dollar stage of its life. Trans has been replaced. Top end, suspension/steering are needing desperate attention. The rest is a typical vehicle issues. Given the price of fuel, it’s hard to think about...

Just checked out HD. They have them priced at $36.98. Other HD had them at $19.98. A few weeks ago, our local store also had the Husky wood top workbench for $129 in store but $99 online. I asked if they would match price and the customer service rep said, “if you want that price, buy it...
