Why does no one use a high truck shell?

I get it, benefits to both, the doors look cool as hell though lol.

    2021 F150 vs F250

It was silly, they shouldn’t have been banned imho but I’m also not a Moderator so there’s that.

Talk me out of a Power Wagon

That’s the struggle, the painted ones chip, the fake chrome stuff holds up pretty well but it’s tacky as hell. Black is the perfect trade off.

Ram 3500 High Output Cummins Overland Build

I am running 48psi in the rear and 44psi up front, seems perfect for daily use. I bump it up to 65/60 when towing heavy. I’m running the same coils, same offset Methods and 37x12.50’s and no rubbing at all. That said, the difference in tire and the lack of fender flares might be the difference...

Why does no one use a high truck shell?

Contractor tops, they are ugly but very functional. I’d have a hard time not ordering one that has rear doors that replace your tailgate.

Very similar setup to what I am running on my 3500, you'll be pleased.

Ram 3500 High Output Cummins Overland Build

Exactly why I went with a 2021, the CP4 in the 2019-20 trucks was a disaster. I ran those on my Lexus GX, they are a nice looking wheel indeed. Make sure you paint the hubs on the axles if you go without the center caps, I've personally never been a fan of center caps on the RAM's. What else...

Talk me out of a Power Wagon

This is what I have been saying for years, the Tremor comes the closest to providing that. I agree, after owning four Super Duty's, a PW and now a 3500 CTD 4x4 I agree that the Tremor is probably the best option for an all around truck, at least in my eyes and for my needs. The Tradesman...

Feeler post....trying to gauge pricing (built 200 series imminent sale)

I am torn, I don't think the RAM is nearly the quality of the LC and it'd be hard to argue against that but I can see the benefit of the bed, straight axle and larger meats. I am glad that I didn't have to decide between the two, it's better to have both.

Looks great! I had a 2018 PW and now a 2021 3500 CTD, both on 37's. The PW rode nice and had all of the off-road goodies but it was a poor excuse for a 3/4-ton truck so it had to go. The 3500 is amazing as a truck and the diesel stomps the 6.4L in every single way but it'll never be the off-road...

    Upland Hunting - General

Eagle Lake is a solid 1.5 hours inland from the coast. It's a well known and storied area for waterfowl hunting in Texas.

That'd be a tough call for me, not sure I could make the move.
