Mine has the stock automatic hubs. I pulled the center caps and trim latch rings after discount tire broke a couple not mounting them centered. Side note... it made a crazy wobble until I figured it out.

Glad to see someone else happy with alpicool. Ive had the aplicool C15 from amazon a year now. Mine has the cheaper plastic body with basic temp and button display, but functionally it has done very well on three long weekend trips out. Its slides under the rear platform for camping and into the...
I have 265K on my 99 winter package now - 40k miles are mine since November 2016. A couple pictures below are from fishing exploring Cape Lookout on the NC Outer Banks back in May. The others are from the camping road trip from Big Ivy Pisgah National Forest to Knoxville TN to Fontana Lake/Dam...
2wd indicator lights randomly came back on after driving an hour today. Either stuck relay or stuck sensor maybe?

I believe I killed the 4wd indicator relay module a few weeks ago. I was shifting between 2wd and 4wd checking movement in driveway. The alternator voltage regulator was having a bad day as well, I've since replaced it. In one shift down to 2wd all dash 2wd 4wd lights went dark and have yet to...

The fan works well making warm NC and VA nights Montero camping conditions comfortable. The lowest 3 of 10 speeds moves a nice gentle breeze and is nearly silent when its right above our heads. Storage during the day is cumbersome... but the whole situation in the Montero will only get better...
No fun...$75 OEM crank sensor if I recall right, maybe $40 for no name surprise replace it again in 5k miles crank sensor parts.

Prototype is done after short but sweaty three evenings in the garage. The fan and frame could be shifted front to back 1 inch to sit on the roof past the pop up visor. Since I cut it centered the lexan edge rests right at the front roof body.

Tonight I cut down the 48"x24"x1/8" lexan to 40" and cut in a 14" square centered so the maxxair fan drops in. The 1/8" lexan alone will not support the fan, so I'll brace two sides with something.
