    Edgestar Fridge Modifications Thread

Try putting cold things in it. Also, precooling overnight helps. That way you have cold items in a cold fridge before you head out.

RTT for family of 4 questions...

True. Our JK is tight with three in the back. Tent wise were fine though we do have an unused CVT Rainier for the JK. When they get big enough to complain about space well use that or pitch a ground tent too. We're only in the tent for sleeping and it's a treat to sleep together (right now)...

Sorry for the late reply. Trailer: Schutt Xventure XV2 Rack: 80/20 and Schutt uprights. It came with the trailer. We're looking into making a Frontrunner or Rhino Rack replacement. We have 5 and the trailer works great for us. We tend to pick pretty good camp spots and hang out there. Our...

    JKU Tire Opinions?

Too bad you aren't new Oregon. We have 10 Rubicon take-offs ?(wheels and tires) taking up space in our garage.

I'm interested. It could be something we do if I take the tent off.

Sand Lake OHV Area. Between Tillamook and Pacific City. There are quads on the beach but folks were (almost all) cool giving us wide berth. We went across the dune, down to the beach and right as far as we could to be out of the way. Best nights sleep I've had camping in a while!

ARB fridge stowed. The 37 and 63 fit. The 50 and 80 are too tall. Fridge extended. Last panel on cover needs to be folded. We usually have it open for the water heater while at camp. Tracks and Traeger:

Anyone have an XVenture by Schutt Ind ?

I figured, like others, that the closed area wasn't the best location. I think at camp, with the lid open, its fine. Additionally, my wife is 5'1" and we have 35's on the trailer so it's a little high to get into the bottom of a fridge stored there. We mounted an ARB 63q on an ARB slide. I...

Anyone have an XVenture by Schutt Ind ?

More power basically. We could still use it with the trailer if we wanted to and often carry it in the Jeep to run our Traeger. The plan is to get a larger inverter and mount that in the trailer. We only need to run lights and fridge so our needs are mostly 12v. We also have an ArkPak which...

Anyone have an XVenture by Schutt Ind ?

There are certainly things we don't like about our trailer: 1. The stove blows. Or rather sucks when it blows. A windscreen might be a solution but our fix is to use our two burner stove instead and hook it to the onboard propane. I plan to buy or make a cutting board to cover the stove hole. 2...
