TUNE M1 CAMPERS ONLY : Post your TUNE Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

This is great! Keep posting! I'm in the Denver area and need to go check out one of these. I'm in the market for some type of pop up shell camper (not a wedge style) and these are high up on the list.

    A Boreas XT Thread

My Boreas XT sits perfectly level with the standard hitch (I guess there is a 2" drop built into the shape of the hitch) with a stock F-150 with the FX-4 package.

    A Boreas XT Thread

I am in Boulder, CO. At the very least I have plans to list the trailer this spring to see if it sells. Feel free to DM me and get me in touch with your buddy.

2022 Boreas XT Mine tows great but I have the bike rack on the front/tongue and also have the more current chassis/suspension than the one pictured above.

    A Boreas XT Thread

If you're interested in used I was thinking about selling mine this spring. It's the 2022 model so it has the current chassis, suspension, and the most recent doors/windows (the 2021 doors did not have a built in window you could open). It's in perfect condition and has a ton of upgrades. The...

Do you actually use or need a pass thru window from camper to pickup?

OK thanks all. So the security issue with respect to windows just has to do with a potential thief being able to look inside and see valuables in the back.

Do you actually use or need a pass thru window from camper to pickup?

I have heard several people mention security with respect to windows in a camper/topper. If the thief is willing to break a window, couldn't they just break one of the front door windows and then hit the unlock button to unlock the tailgate? Or is the security more for visibility so that a...

Do you actually use or need a pass thru window from camper to pickup?

I'm in the same boat as you (considering OVRLND or Tune M1). I don't think I need a pass through, but I like the idea of rear visibility when driving. Seems like that might actually work for the Tune M1 - the window looks big enough to give some real visibility, but I haven't seen one in...

Swap out stock tires for something more fuel friendly?

I also doubt you will see much change in MPG with different tires. What are you towing with?

OnX GPS, Gaia GPS, All Trails or other for hiking and public land boundaries

I have CO Trex and really like it. I'm not sure if it shows public/private land boundaries so that you can know for sure whether or not you're camping on public lands. I'll check...

    Maxing out your truck’s payload

You shouldn't drive your trucks at all. That causes wear and tear and you're at increased risk of an accident.

    Comparison of these campers

Those look really nice and they're located in Denver, which is a plus for me.

    Comparison of these campers

I'm in the same boat (researching shell campers with full pop up, not wedge) and joining the discussion. It looks like Ovrlnd Campers and AT Overland Summit are both top notch, established, durable, good design. Is there any reason why they wouldn't be at the top of the list? My one problem...

Thanks everyone! Gaia seems to be the clear winner.
