If you are looking for budget, I did the ZUK mod on my 4Runner. Improved everything, height, ride, flex, and I don't compress my spine on every bump. http://www.gearinstalls.com/ Some very good writeups on that page of the ZUK mod, and it can be done with about $60 and about an hours time. -Jaren

I don't want to get into a heated debate at all, or step on any toes. All I'm going to say, is that in the ecosystem's of Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming had a natural predator, the timber wolf, not a whole lot bigger than a coyote, the wolves that have since been reintroduced, are NOT natural...

Another update, don't know if anyone is following this thread still or not but it's nice to have for my own documentation! I ended up not ordering a rear bumper, I was over at a buddies house and he had one on his wrecked 1990 S10, so I pulled it off and it was the easiest thing to mount up...

You beat me to it flywgn! That wolf is a subspecies known as Canis lupus occidentalis, and the pictured one was taken in the Mackenzie Valley in Canada. Although we do have that subspecies in Idaho, and they get just as big... -Jaren
