We made it to our friends place outside Phoenix this morning. Unloaded and repacked,made a shopping list and had a good meal. Resupply tomorrow, check over the toyota and rest. High priority item is to find a radio shop for a new antenna. Should cross the boarder the 7th. 3700 miles covered so far.
Hey Christian, we finally made it into lv and will press on for a while. I need to fond a 8' cb whip and coax around there. Any suggestions? Also gotta find new roof top box. Tje thule was trashed on the alcan. Saw some on cl so we mat be around there a while

That sux. I tried downloading a bunch of street maps for use on cell phone while its offline and found that most didn't actually dl. Out of 65,000 files, 2G, maybe 100 are good
Anyone here use it? Not something we normally use but have used it so our parents can follow our travels. Not sure how to work out the details but it would we pretty cool if folks in the rally could see each other. Would make it possible for spontaneous hookups on the road.

I know it's not on the list but we are thinking of trying to collect some prescription glasses, esp sizes to fit kids. We can't get there early and it looks like the other items might be covered. Let us know what you think
I got E32 installed. It looks like a great product. Service was fast and instructions good. It works in basecamp and mapsource. I am more familiar w/mapsource so I am using it. If I could figure out how to load the files into backcountry navigator to run on my cell phone I'd be set!
