TJ/LJ Adjustable Control arms with no Heim Joint?

I would call Dirk at DPG Offroad. The man is a Jeep suspension guru and probably can get you set up with a really sweet custom suspension. Tell him exactly how you plan to build your Jeep and he'll do the rest.

I know the name. Him and waterdog (may he rest in peace) were the go to guys for help on anything TJ related. Those guys knew too much for their own good about TJs. I've heard the horror stories of trying any sensors other than OEM so I have no intention of changing that. I have the NGK TPS...

I've always been a fan of the Frogs and look forward to starting up this fall. The Jeep...well it's being a pain in my ass. Terrible transmission noise comes now it heats up and is in neutral. Noise goes away with the clutch depressed. I'd say throwout bearing or pilot bearing but both...

Yup, the TPS sensor is Mopar and the MAP sensor is like a NGK or something like that

Jeep is officially back from the shop. New clutch kit, rear main, and pinion seal complete. Ended up needing to replace the entire clutch, the old throwout bearing had begun to tear up the pressure plate. Prior to dropping the Jeep off at the shop, I did replace the rear brakes; rotors, pads...

Current situation: throwout bearing has gone out, confused computer that borderline stalls because it can't find a good idle rpm once warmed up, VERY leaky rear main, and a VERY leaky front pinion seal. - new TPS and MAP sensor to help see if we fix our confused computer - new rear brake rotors...

Thank you. One of the research areas is in Namibia and we would be using Land Cruisers for the better part of 6 weeks. That being said, this project is likely to fall through due to severe droughts.

Been lurking a bit, nothing important really going on. Simply been saving money, however I did get to visit Scotland for a few days and see a lot of the Highlands. Lots of Defenders to look at also. Saw some cool WWII batteries, visited 3 distilleries, castles, and even hiked to a B-24...

I wish their TJ tanks worked with my year model.

100K on OME struts and springs. Replace them?

I would say 100k is more than your money's worth out of shocks and springs. It will be worth replacing them at this point.

What do you use for a truck gun?

I guess you could bring in a takedown model reasonably concealed and then take the minute or two to assemble it...because that is entirely practical

What do you use for a truck gun?

I'm a sucker for lever-actions (owner of a Win '94 Takedown in .38-55). Talk about a great palate of power between the two.

They are factory control arms so non-adjustable. Might be possible that the bushings might be shot.

Just want to throw an update into the mix. I plan to move back to Texas in May. Arizona hasn't panned out to how I hoped. Hardly was able to explore the beautiful areas around, the job has not been great, and I unfortunately did not get into the graduate program I wanted for next fall. Next step...
