    reseal fixed windows

I got a quote for resealing the 7 fixed windows that are on my 1998 Ford E-350. It's more than I can spend right now so I guess I'll be doing this myself. I am pretty handy given my 25 years of construction experience. The glass place that did the quote mentioned the stock butyl tape used is a...

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

Did you do the install yourself? This is something I was thinking about doing with my 98 E350 as well. It looks simple but I've never done it.

    Diesel hiace Doka in Asheville

I have imported more than 200 motorcycles so I know how to do it. If the vehicle is 25 years old or older it can be done. A lot of people are doing it.

    Diesel hiace Doka in Asheville

Everyone I know who’s bought from him has been happy too. There’s another guy in south Seattle who’s the exact opposite. His prices are high, his vehicles are garbage and he’s shifty. Not sure why but Seattle has a bunch of JDM importers. Maybe it’s because we have some big ports. I...

    replace hinge pins E-series vans?

That’s a good idea if I can’t find a replacement part. Some of the hinges look easy to replace, some not so much. Maybe I can use both options.

    Diesel hiace Doka in Asheville

Anyone looking for any of these should check this place out. I have met the owner a few times and few of my friends have purchased from him. Not only does he import quality vehicles but his prices are great and everyone I know who have purchased from him have been very happy...

    replace hinge pins E-series vans?

All of my doors are drooping a bit. Has anyone been down the road of repairing this? At first I thought I'd just replace the pins but then I started thinking maybe it's the hinge that's worn.

    1998 E350 ClubWagon build thread

Update, I ended up having a local shop install 4.10 gears, new spindle, axle shafts and a Trutrac in the rear axle. The van can cruise at 75mph pretty comfortably. I put some MLV on the floor under the stock flooring mat. I will do more to the floor later. I made curtains. I used black...

    Weldtec or Camburg?

In hindsight I’d probably have done the 4” lift instead just because it’s kind of tall for loading my bikes. I’m super happy with it and Weldtec’s customer service.

    Weldtec or Camburg?

Thanks for the posts everyone. I went with the 6” full performance package. I had a local weld/off road shop install it. Everything went on without any issues and the van drives so damn good. I have a build thread going. I’ll post pics and updates in there. I also just did new axle shafts...

Insulated Window covers DIY or buy?

I have access to a sewing machine and someone who can pretty much sew anything. I'm looking to make or purchase window covers like the ones seen on this webpage https://diyadventurevanco.com/collections/insulating-curtains-2007-sprinter/products/insulating-curtains-3-piece-cockpit-kit As you...
