Lets see some full size pictures...

Out driving through the Apalachicola National forest, and Tate's Hell State forest. Came across some old one lane bridges, thought I'd take a picture and share it. The bugs were horrible but I managed to get one. I know my pictures haven't quite captured the full potential of this truck, however...

Took the Power wagon out looking for campsites, trying to take my son on his first camping adventure. Thought I'd take a few pictures, I'm bad about taking the time to capture transit pictures.

The working - camping OBS F-350

I use the PMF 2.5 rsk. I've had a good experience with the kit, very easy to install and tucked up nice so is not very noticable. I did superduty axles front and rear, and used stock springs from the superduty. The front is the x code springs so I was able to fit 35's with no issues, and the...

    Destination Unknown - a 1997 F350 build

My obs had a clunking noise, I found it to be the RSK and leaf spring rubbing together. The sound made me think the front axle was about to fall off and send the truck rolling (and not on the wheels) into oncoming traffic. However, after a good month of inspecting the truck, I noticed some red...

Just took the obs out for the first time in 6 months, I love driving that truck! It just puts a smile on my face everytime, so I thought it was a good time to take a group photo while it's out of storage.

    2019 Power Wagon Build

Dose your truck have the "cargo cam" option? If so did you have to remove and replace the brake light to install the Snugtop? Or does the Snugtop fit with the camera still in place?

Eating crow....2018 Ram Power Wagon build

... have you started a build thread on this? Would love to see it come together.

    2019 Ram Power Wagon

Tex68w, have you given any thought to the new Gladiator? Or maybe a 6.0 powerstroke build? I think either if those would fit your needs. 05-07 Superduty year range would be a sweet setup, their should be plenty of those sitting around your parts of Texas. I know they have their issues, but they...

    2019 Ram Power Wagon

I think most people would agree with you. I however like the 6.4, and very happy they don't offer a diesel version. The main reason in my opinion is, diesel engines are to tempting to modify costing me more money. For example, DEF delete (which brings about a debate like PW payload arguments)...

90's f450 good base for expedition build?

I love the obs Fords, the 7.3's along with the zf's are great combo's. For overlanding travels they meet the reliability, parts availability, simplicity (opinion), durability, and fuel consumption requirements. However, some issues I have with my 97 f250 with the 7.3 and zf5 are: glow plugs...

    2019 Ram Power Wagon

I agree that bigger/better tires would be nice. However, in my experience convincing the wife that the purchase of wheels and tires is needed, is much easier than trying to convince her that you need: a 12000lbs winch (with an idle up feature so you don't drain the batteries), front and rear...

    2019 Ram Power Wagon

The new PW's look great, and you would enjoy being the envy of the road when people see it. Your previous PW was beautiful, and I'm sure the only thing that kept you from keeping it was the MPG/payload plague. However, the unique capabilities and presence of these trucks is worth the sacrifice...

    2000 F350 build

cleaning the interior First order of business will be cleaning and preserving. The previous owner never washed, vacuumed, wiped, or anything to the truck so i have 15 years of catching up. first rip out the interior: then sand, prime and paint the thresh hold with bed liner: then...

    2000 F350 build

Well, after owning and slightly building a few trucks in the past, I have finally decided to document a “full build” of my most recent purchase. The truck is a 2000 Ford F350 CCLB SRW with the 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel w/222k miles. This will be the first for me in many ways as I have never owned a...
