    Waxy contaminant in propane line

A number of posts back I purchased a new hose and inspected it with a borescope. It was in good condition and I had no serious concerns that was the root of the issue. I didn't see any reason to cut open a perfectly good hose and have kept it as a spare. It has a proprietary Partner fitting...

    Waxy contaminant in propane line

Ok, here's the moment I've been waiting for to make a final conclusion to this issue. This is how I did it and I'm not saying this is the best way or that anyone else should do it this way. When in doubt, take it to someone who can service your tank. This past week I burned the last of the...

99, F350.... unused space under cab.

I've seen air compressors, air tanks, and batteries mounted there. I don't see any reason you couldn't mount some water storage there as long as it's mounted securely.

    Kitchen Kit/Chuck Box

For us, not really. Things fit fairly tight and in a lot of cases we have pot dividers, pot holders, dish towels, etc between critical items. At the end of the day it's in the bed of my truck so unless it's really loud I probably wouldn't hear it anyway. If it were in the back of an SUV it...

    Kitchen Kit/Chuck Box

Good question. I finished up the box (for the time being) towards the end of the summer and it works really well. It's definitely heavy and is best moved with 2 people. There's not much I would change about it other than the weight. I think the best I could do is replace the wall panels with...

    Anyone removed an anti-condensation mat?

Not crazy, I've wondered the same thing on my CVT Summit Series for similar reasons. Or maybe that makes us both crazy. I eventually gave in and had to add some additional cushion to our sleep setup (2" latex topper) so now space is even tighter. Getting rid of the ACM would help with that.

$36k , heck I would consider selling mine for that price! That looks almost exactly what mine looked like off the lot (minus the topper).

Alabama, about as opposite as you can get. ;)

    Waxy contaminant in propane line

Yep, that's the one. In our area it's AmeriGas. It's who I purchased the cylinder through some years ago. Due to Covid they are not taking walk-ins for refills or any other services. The office is closed and there's no way to make payment since the people who process payment are all...

Like this? These are 1/4" female NPT fittings on either side of the pressure regulator.

    Waxy contaminant in propane line

That's my plan. I haven't dug back into this lately as it hasn't been a huge priority but I would still like to have that confirmation of what this was. The last few outings I've ran the stove I've just used 1# cylinders and one will keep us going for lots of cooking all weekend long. I was...

Cook Partner stove FAQ / Master thread

So are you wanting to change the stove side fitting or the tank side fitting? The stove side fitting you would only get from PS. I replaced my tank side fitting with one of the quick style acme nuts like you find on modern grills. They don't cost much but are much easier to thread onto a...

    07-09 2500 Dodge Ram parts

If you weren't all the way on the west coast I'd be all over that bumper. I've been trying to find one used for my 06 for a long while now and the ARB was in my top 3.

Lol, you're looking for a unicorn of a truck for under 18k and are concerned about it's color? I wish you good luck in your quest. ;)

    Modifying CVT Annex Connection

What I would say is to not use the plastic version of this awning rail. CVT used to sell it a few years back and I think has changed to use the aluminum version. I've gotten my awning stuck in that plastic rail a couple times and had to replace it.
