    ARB Bullbar Mods

Has anyone tried putting the newer style turn signal/driving light buckets on a Tacoma bar? I've always wondered whether or not it would work.

    Opinions on 32" options

I'm looking to get new tires soon and trying to decide between 265/75/16's and 235/85/16's. I was wondering if anyone who's actually used these sizes has any input. I like the skinny tires for aesthetics, better gas mileage, etc.; but the sidewalls are much stiffer and wasn't sure what the...

Looky what I spotted on the highway near Reno, NV!

Maybe this is dumb, but did it cross anyone's mind that these might be for movies? Just seemed like a pretty plausible explanation that wasn't brought up.

    Mr. Leary's 3rd gen 4runner

BTW, your rubber "bumpers" on your ARB are upside down.

Oh I just thought I was somehow overlooking something, I get it.

I don't see whats so crazy about it. Mild lift, locker, 32's, and some recovery gear. I'm working on a very similar setup only milder lift and an e-locker rather than the ARB. Am I missing something??

Very nice. Seems like a very sensibly modded rig for the most part.

    Who had the Window Socks?

I remember seeing in a thread someone with Windowsox on their 4runner. I searched but can't find it. I think they said they werre for a pilot but I cant remember. Anyway they sell them in the U.S. now and I want some so if you could fill me in on what type you bought that would be awesome. Thanks.

    Applejack's 3rd Gen 4runner Build

IIRC the sipping (sp?) is actually better on the Generals too.

    Applejack's 3rd Gen 4runner Build

In regards to your tire complaints, all I ever hear as the "other option" is the BFG's. I personally run the General Grabber AT2's, they are better rated than the BFG's, severe snow rated, studable, and way cheaper. I've had mine on for a while now and have no complaint's through water, deep...

Sonoran Steel 1.2 v. OME setup

Arn't the typical quoted heights for the 2000-02 4runners. Being a 98' yours would already be an inch taller. Not that it matters for your dilemma, but it would make since with the advertised lift vs. your actual lift.
